Artistic Crafts, a division of KCSS, provides a service for marketing custom/hand crafted products on the Internet.

1. Artistic Crafts, with vendor input, will build the necessary Web page(s) to display vendor products at no cost to the vendor. The Web page(s) will be in the standard format for the Artistic Crafts Web site and contain a picture with narrative description of the product(s) including the price and shipping/handling costs. The vendor will provide the narrative description and a picture of each product. Artistic Crafts can take a digital picture(s) of the product(s) if the vendor is local to the Washington DC Metropolitan area. All Web pages are the property of Artistic Crafts.

2. Artistic Crafts will update a vendors Web page(s) as requested.

3. Artistic Crafts will provide a safe and secure encrypted means for customers to order over the Internet by credit card.

4. Artistic Crafts will register the Web site with major Web search engines such as Yahoo, WebCrawler, and Excite to ensure maximum exposure/advertising of vendor products. When new product types are added to the Artistic Crafts Web site this new information will be registered with the Web search engines.

5. Artistic Crafts will use a Web store shopping cart system to accept orders. Artistic Crafts will forward orders to the vendor via FAX, e-mail, or phone within one day of receipt.

6. The vendor will mail all products (drop shipping) and insure at face value. The vendor will provide all packing materials and ship the order within five working days of order receipt. Artistic Crafts will be notified of completed shipments, including shipping/handling costs, the day of shipment via FAX, e-mail or phone.

7. KCSS will collect all moneys associated with a sale on the Artistic Crafts Web site. Credit card surcharges (3-4%) are not charged to the vendor. The purchase will be charged to the customers credit card the day of shipping.

8. KCSS will collect and pay Virginia sales tax where appropriate.

9. The first week of every month KCSS will mail a check to the vendor for items sold during the previous month (less 40% service fee) plus shipping and handling fees.

10. Artistic Crafts will provide a means for customers to comment on the Web site and vendor products. Comments will be provided to the vendor in a timely manner.

11. Artistic Crafts will offer sales incentives such as free items, contests, specials, discounts, etc.. Vendor will be asked to contribute sales/order incentives from time to time.

12. Artistic Crafts will provide an e-mail address (vendorname@Artistic-Crafts.com) if requested by the vendor.

13. Artistic Crafts will notify customers, via e-mail, of product updates/additions when the customer registers with Artistic Crafts.

14. The vendor is responsible for warranty of items placed for sale on the Artistic Crafts Web site and for resolving customer complaints with their products in an expeditious manner. Artistic Crafts will be kept appraised, by the vendor, of customer complaints and resolution.

15. If an item is returned to the vendor, the vendor will notify Artistic Crafts within one working day. The customers credit card will be credited by KCSS for the purchase price. The price (less service fee) will be deducted from the vendors’ monthly sales total. If the purchase was via check KCSS will mail a refund check to the customer and adjust the vendors monthly sales as for a credit purchase.

16. This agreement can be terminated by either KCSS or the vendor with two weeks notice. Any financial obligations will be settled between the vendor and KCSS before the end of the two week period.
